Since I arrived in Sao Paulo, I spent most of my time eating :) The foods in Sao Paulo are amazing and we have thousands of good restaurants. And, at home, my mom cooks very well :)
Desde que cheguei em Sao Paulo, passei a maior parte do meu tempo comendo :) As comidas em São Paulo são marvilhosas e temos milhares de bons restaurantes. E, em casa, minha mãe cozinha muito bem :)
As in the rest of the country, the "feijoada" is one of the most representative dishes and it is prepared with a succulent combination of beans, specially red and black, and pork served with rice. Due to the European influence, mainly Italian, we do like to eat pizza in Sao Paulo as well.
Como no resto do país, a "feijoada" é um dos pratos mais representativos e é preparado com uma combinação suculenta de feijão, especialmente em vermelho e preto, e carne de porco servido com arroz. Devido à influência européia, principalmente italianos, nós gostamos de comer pizza em São Paulo também.
Here we have many varieties of fruit. And the main drink is the caipirinha made with cachaça (from sugar cane), lime, ice and sugar.
Aqui temos muitas variedades de frutas. E a principal bebida é a caipirinha feita com cachaça, limão, gelo e açúcar.

I am Roman Catholic and I went to visit our lady of Aparecida.

Our Lady of Aparecida is the patroness of Brazil. Historic accounts state that the statue was originally found by three fishermen who miraculously caught many fish after invoking the Blessed Virgin Mary. The statue is currently housed in the Basilica of Our Lady of Aparecida located in Aparecida, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Nossa Senhora Aparecida é a padroeira do Brasil.
